DUES !! DUES !! DUES !!
2010-10-06

KEEP YOUR DUES CURRENT!

If you are over 2 months delinquent in your dues payments you are not in good standing with the IBEW. If something should happen to you, the International will not pay any death benefit to your designated beneficiary. Keep Local 82 informed as to any address change and be sure the IBEW has the proper beneficiaries listed for you.

If you are over 6 months delinquent, you are no longer a member of the IBEW. You lose your death benefits through the International as well as any accumulated years of service towards retirement. Stop by or call the hall at 937.898.4239 for further information.

TWIC Cards
2008-12-24

TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) cards will soon be required when working at the Marathon Oil facility in Huntington, W. VA. local 317.

These cards are issued by the Homeland Security branch of the gov't and from what the referral agent in Huntington lead me to believe would soon be required all up and down the river at any of those power plants. I do have some applications at the office if anyone is interested in filling one out. There is a cost involved of $ 132.50 paid by the applicant.
