SPECIAL MEETING !!!
2010-07-26
The Business Manager has called a special meeting for Monday, July 26 at 5:00 PM.
The purpose of this meeting is for a discussion AND vote of a Rehabilitation Plan for the Pension. Before anyone gets confused, what was voted upon in March was to let the trustees know what type of plan you preferred and the length of time to fund it.
What is to be voted upon this time is to actually direct the funds into the Pension Plan if the members choose to. This is quite controversial, complicated and unfortunately, necessary to do. In any case, bring your patience, your thinking caps and be prepared to listen to what is being discussed.

TWIC Cards
2008-12-24
TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) cards will soon be required when working at the Marathon Oil facility in Huntington, W. VA. local 317.
These cards are issued by the Homeland Security branch of the gov't and from what the referral agent in Huntington lead me to believe would soon be required all up and down the river at any of those power plants. I do have some applications at the office if anyone is interested in filling one out. There is a cost involved of $ 132.50 paid by the applicant.
